Monoslope Corrosion Repair

HOG BARN CORROSION IS CAUSE BY INEFFECTIVE INSULATION

If your steel is full of rust and corrosion caused by condensation in your hog barn, you need to insulate. We secure air chutes so they won’t blow out, then we spray foam them to ensure a strong, air-tight seal. We top off your cellulose to an R-40.

WHAT CAUSES HOG BARN RUST AND CORROSION?

Air chutes that are not properly installed blow out, allowing cold air to filter into the attic and down into the barn. Old insulation settles and allows heat to escape up into the attic. Condensation is created where the cold air and hot air meet. Condensation rusts the steel.
